Come and Meet Luis @ St. Peter’s

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 7-9:00pm

Please join us in helping to share God’s love with children around the world. If you haven’t participated in the past, it’s simple.  Fill a shoebox with small items such as hats, gloves, scarves, stuffed animals, hygiene items such as toothbrushes, bar soap with washcloth, combs, toys, small games, clothing items, & school supplies, such as pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, coloring books, etc.

(Items not to pack: chocolate, perishable foods, war related toys/items, used items, liquids like lotions, toothpaste, or breakable items like snow globes or glass containers; also no aerosols)

You may wrap your own shoebox in Christmas wrap, buy a clear plastic shoebox or pick up a box(es) from the church office.  Fill a box for a boy or girl in age group:  2-4 years old, 5-9 years old, or 10-14 years old. You then may add a personal note or photo along with a check for $9 per box. If you make the $9 donation per box online – your box can be tracked and you will be notified where your box was shipped. My boxes went to the Philippines last year. One child said “I loved my stuffed dog; I was filled with exuberant joy!”

On Tuesday evening, October 15, from 7:00pm-9:00pm, in The Fireside Room (front parking lot), we will have a guest speaker from Operations Christmas Child that received a shoebox as a child.  He will share with you his story of receiving his shoebox one Christmas season and how it changed his life.

Join us, as we share God’s love, the Gospel Good News and change children’s lives!
