April 9, 2017 • 3:30 p.m.

Music Director Dr. Mark Bennett
the Festival Choir with professional orchestra and soloists, and featuring St. Peter's own Jeralyn Glass, soprano solo.

From darkness to light, grief to hope, Mozart’s Requiem sets the traditional prayers of the Requiem Mass to spectacular music expressing the depths of life’s struggle juxtaposed with bright hope for the future. Performed initially for Mozart’s own memorial, it is hauntingly beautiful and deeply moving.

We offer this concert in the hope that it will serve as a memorial to our loved ones.

The concert is free to all in the community, but there will be a goodwill offering to support the music fund, which makes these concerts possible. If you are interested in making a gift in memory of someone, please use the online donation tool at StPetersPres.org, where you can designate your gift to the music fund, and include your memorial in the comment box. You are also welcome to contact the church office at 310.377.6882. Memorials received by Monday, April 3 will be listed in the program.
