Children are a welcome presence in all of our Sunday morning offerings. See below for invitations we have specifically for children 5th grade and under.
9:30 Worship Infants-Preschool can be dropped off in our Nursery Center. Children in Preschool-5th Grade are encouraged to attend Worship in the Sanctuary with their families and participate in the beginning of the worship service. They will then be excused for their own Church School in our upstairs education classrooms (during summer we meet outside on the lawn, weather permitting). Children will return to the Sanctuary to participate in Communion with the rest of the church family on Communion Sundays - the first Sunday of the month.
11:00 Growth Time Infants- Preschool can remain or be dropped off in our Nursery Center. During Growth Time, Children in Preschool-5th Grade participate in an all-grade class and receive a message on that Sunday’s scripture. Parents can pick up children in our upstairs classroom by 12:00 PM.
Join us as we celebrate being a child of God through studying the Bible, activities and art!

The Nursery/Toddler Center: Birth thru 2.5
Care for our littlest ones is provided by loving staff and caregivers in the Nursery/Toddler Center. Services are available during Sunday worship at 9:30AM, Growth Time at 10:45AM, and most church wide events. Children will experience a warm welcome and careful attention along with age appropriate crafts, songs and stories. Parents will feel the peace that comes with knowing their children are well cared for and secure. Our beeper system allows staff to contact parents as needed. The one-way mirror allows parents to observe while remaining out of sight.
The Shore: Preschool thru 3rd Grade
We meet every Sunday during the 9:30AM Worship Service. We have an amazing team of teachers who guide the children through weekly Bible lessons using the Deep Blue Curriculum. Students in all grades will learn the same story on a given Sunday. However, the themes drawn from the Bible Stories are specifically applicable to each age group. Please join our weekly email to get a heads up on what Bible lesson we'll be focusing on.
The Trail: 4th and 5th Grades
We meet every Sunday during the 9:30AM Worship Service. The Trail will be beginning to use a new curriculum, Connect, focused on younger children and preteens. Look for discussion topics coming home on their weekly take-home Family Page. In addition, we get together several times a year for fun and activities. We've gone rock climbing, kickboxing, movie watching and bowling (just to name a few). The emphasis of this program is on growing our relationships with God and each other by having a lot of fun together.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Church school classrooms need more volunteers. It is important for the children of St. Peter's to know how much we care for them. Every little bit helps!
