Worship is at heart a public act that makes a bold assertion — that there is a God and that we human beings, created by God, can and indeed are called to acknowledge God, be in conversation with God, speak and listen to God, glorify God, and put our lives in tune with God as revealed in Jesus Christ, and with the human community that gathers to worship (the church). Gather with praise and prayer through singing and prayer:
- Hear the Word through scripture and proclamation through sermons, drama, anthems and children's sermons
- Respond by offering ourselves through affirmation, commissionings and offerings
- Seal the Word through the sacraments through baptism and The Lord's Supper
- Follow the Word out into the world through mission to the world, ministry to our community, and the faithfulness in our daily lives.
