Preschool Enrollment is now open to the community for the 2010-2011 school year. Please call the Preschool Office (377-1194) for more information or call Christie Gill, ext. 232 for enrollment materials or a brochure.

Children of all cultures, races, faiths, and development needs are welcome to attend St. Peter's By The Sea Presbyterian Church.
The preschool is open to children ages 2 1/2 (and toilet trained) through 5 years


Our graduates are kindergarten ready with an enthusiasm for learning and friendships that last for years to come.


Our loving staff is composed of fully credentialed Early Childhood Teachers hired specifically for expertise in various aspects of education. Our classrooms are bright and cheerful, and our playground well-equipped.

 

Purpose
The Preschool offers developmentally appropriate opportunities for growth in the following areas of learning:


  • The development of a positive self-concept in each child-confident, capable, and courteous.
  • Learning centers to develop skills in the subjects of pre-reading, pre-math, and pre-writing.
  • Growth in social skills and self-expression. Increased physical coordination of both large and small muscles.
  •  Introduction to Phonics through the Zoo-Phonics curriculum.Enrichment subjects include: Spanish, Art, and Music.


Calendar
The preschool calendar is designed to coordinate with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District.


School hours are from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 noon daily. An optional extended day program called Lunch Bunch, is offered from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. on Monday-Thursday.


Early morning drop-off is also available.

We welcome enrollment year round based on availability.

Cost Minimize

Cost
The Registration Fee for new students is $175 and $95 for returning students.
Monthly program fees are determined by days of enrollment:


5 days per week - $465
4 days per week - $435
3 days per week - $375
2 days per week - $325


Lunch Bunch, our extended day progrm available at $18 per day.


Early morning drop is also available:


5 days per week - $55
4 days per week - $45
3 days per week - $35
2 days per week - $25
