Music is one (powerful!) language of worship. Music engages both the right and left sides of the brain, as we open ourselves to worship with "heart, soul, mind and strength." In a culture where arts in our schools are under constant threat of budget cuts, it is churches such as St. Peter's that keep this language alive.
St. Peter's has always valued music in worship, and as a language to be passed on to our children. Our graded choirs (beginning in Preschool and extending through adults), Handbell choirs, orchestras and liturgical movement groups have a rich history of not only training our hearts and minds, but also leading our worship.
There are no auditions for participating in our music groups, and membership at St. Peter's is not required. If you have a heart that likes to sing, and an ability to be conisistent, we welcome you! Contact any of our music staff for more information, or call the church office and we will get back to you.
We share not only the joy of music, but the fellowship of Christ!
