Scheduling Weddings are scheduled through the church office, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your wedding date will be reserved when:
- One of our pastors has been confirmed for your date.
- A completed application and a $100 non-refundable deposit (for non-members) is on file in the church office.
Weddings are scheduled on Saturdays between 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons are also available. Weddings planned for any other times or day will require special approval. Generally, rehearsals are scheduled for Fridays or the day before the wedding. We cannot accommodate rehearsals on Thursdays. About an hour is required for an effective rehearsal, so all participants are requested to be present 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Marriage License Obtaining the marriage license is the responsibility of the couple and it is to be brought to the wedding rehearsal.
Fees When your wedding date has been confirmed, a non-refundable $100.00 deposit (for non-members) is to be paid to the church office. The balance is to be presented to the Wedding Director at the rehearsal. Please make the check payable to “St. Peter’s By The Sea Presbyterian Church.”
Total fees are:
- Member: $600 (includes wedding director-$200, organist-$250, custodial and facility fee-$150)
- Non-Member: $1,000 (includes Wedding Director $200, Organist $250, Custodial and Facility fee $550)
- Honorarium for the pastor is not listed because it is a gift, not a fee, provided at the discretion of the bride and groom. At St. Peter’s honorariums are directed to the “Staff Development Fund” and therefore can be made payable to “St. Peter’s” as a charitable donation.
- If requested, vocal & instrumental soloists can be arranged through Howard Wood. The normal fee for a soloist is $150.
- All fees are negotiable for smaller weddings.
