Music and Organist
The church organist is Howard Wood. Please contact Howard at (310)
316-9918 as soon as your wedding is scheduled to discuss the wedding
music. A large selection of ceremonial music is available for
organ and piano. A guest organist may be used only by invitation
of Mr. Wood. No extra fee will be charged for Mr. Wood to
accompany any soloists unless more than one rehearsal is necessary. If
desired, Mr. Wood can offer suggestions for soloists and musical
selections. A separate check should be written for any soloist. The
normal fee for a soloist is $150.
Flowers, Candles, Decorations
Plans for flower arrangements, candles, aisle runners and other
decorations are to be decided with the Wedding Director. The church
will provide candles and a three-branch unity candelabrum, if
requested. Those being married provide flowers.
Throughout the liturgical year, the sanctuary will have different
colored paraments, banners, and decorations to enrich our
worship. These decorations are expected to stay in place when
weddings occur. Any questions regarding such visual arts can be
directed to the pastor performing the service.
