All learning materials and equipment have been chosen with a definite purpose in mind. Puzzles and manipulative activities develop small muscle control and eye-hand coordination. Blocks, art materials and housekeeping centers stimulate creativity, imagination and social interaction. Educational hands-on activities develop pre-reading, pre-math, pre-writing and language skills.

The play yard includes a large sand area with playhouse and digging equipment. Structures for climbing and tricycles for riding facilitate large muscle development. A gardening area is provided as well as areas for running, jumping, basketball and dramatic play.
